It was my first time at Rex’s which is surprising because it’s been in my backyard for so long. I was beyond impressed! The bread is delicious, the starter salad was tasty, and I ordered the cavatelli, which I will be dreaming about. Staff were so very friendly and the place is super clean. It’s great to see a small business thriving. I highly recommend!
We just had a wonderful family meal here. Everything was really good- down to the salad! We ordered a little bit of everything and highly recommend the coconut shrimp app and stuffed cherry peppers. All our entrees were delicious and plenty of leftovers. The service was excellent and the everyone very friendly. Highly recommend!
I waa at Rex's on Tuesday evening with 2 friends. It was my first time since they first opened. I ordered a salmon salad. Sounds plan? Oh it wasn't! It was probably the most yummy restaurant dinner I have ever had. The greens were hearty but so flavorful with a semi sweet dressing and slivered almonds. The salmon was a big portion and so fresh and perfectly cooked and also covered with yummy almond slices. I don't care for raw onions and will make sure to order without next time. Also! I took half home and it completely held up and stayed crisp and delicious. I'll be back for sure. Service was excellent too!
New to the area. Heard lots of good things. Went in with my wife and was not disappointed. Excellent. We’re from the downstate area so we know good food. My wife had the shrimp scampi. I had the best French onion soup I’ve ever had along with the best breakfast burger I’ve ever had. Everything was absolutely delicious. Really good Bloody Mary too! Definitely on the pricey side, but then again quality is never cheap. We’re definitely coming back. Very pleased.
Dine here often. Only place in town that I can get escargot! Everything is delicious.
Amazing Italian food that hits the spot every time. Their burgers and sandwiches are also amazing. It is a little pricey but for the amount of food you get it is DEFINITELY worth it!
We were greeted immediately with friendly service. Everything was super delicious from the bread, to the salad - I know, salad, but all the ingredients were super fresh and the dressing was delicious and they’re not stingy with it - to the pasta and sauce. I had the Alfredo which was so creamy and buttery and my husband had the ravioli and meatballs with a mixture of their regular and their spicy sauce. Chef’s kiss. Highly recommend.
